New book: Biodiversity in Education for Sustainable Development – Reflection on School – Research Cooperation

The book "Biodiversity in Education for Sustainable Development – Reflection on School – Research Cooperation" summarizes the results of a SUPPORT workshop organized by the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research-UFZ.
 
The book should be of interest to educational policymakers and practitioners as well as biodiversity- and education experts.

Exploring collaborative relationships in ESD and the role of ICT is one of the main interests of the SUPPOR project. The goal of the biodiversity workshop was to bring together teachers, teacher trainers, education experts, researchers and program developers to explore in greater depth the nature of collaborative relationships between schools and researchers in biodiversity education. The workshop took place in Kassel, Germany on September 24-27, 2009.
