International Youth Conference on the environment in Stavanger, Norway, 2 - 5 June, 2010
The international Youth Conference "What is Energy?" will take place 2-5 June, 2010, in Stavanger, Norway.
Over 100 companies, governmental institutions and organizations are involved in organizing the conference.
The conference is for children aged 10 - 14 who are involved in environmental projects (this could also be natural science projects, mathematical projects, etc.).
3-5 participants per country is recommended, and 7 (five children and two adult chaperones) is the absolute maximum. Participants from low income countries can apply to have their travel and accommodation expenses covered by Young Agenda. Please specify if your participation is dependent on funding.

The conference is named "What is Energy?" and will welcome approximately 250 delegates from 20 - 25 countries. The conference is held at the University of Stavanger, and the programme offers a number of workshops, excursions, discussion groups, lectures, presentations and cultural activities. The event ends with celebrations of the UN World Environment Day.
