Study Visit, Education for Sustainability through Organic Food and Farming, Sep 2009, Poland

This is a Transversal Study Visit run by Ewa Smuk Stratenwerth supported by James Hindson and other colleagues from Poland.

Ewa and her husband run one of Poland’s first organic farms where they have also built up a substantial education and community programme and education centre. The study visit will involve discussions, workshops and visit to a variety of organic farm education providers as well as experience of Ewa and Peter’s farm – Ziarno. The good news is that you can apply for funding from your EU Life Long Learning Programme office to attend! You would have to apply to the Transversal Study Visits programme and the funding will cover all your travel and accommodation to attend.
