Time outline:

  • Aug 29th - Arrival day, welcome dinner at 19.00
  • Aug 30th, 09.00, Conference opens
  • Sep 1st, 17.00, Conference closes

(This conference was originally planned for 19-23 April, but had to be postponed due to the stop in air traffic in April, caused by the volcanic ash cloud.)

PROGRAMME: The programme includes keynotes by leading experts in the field of ESD and competencies needed for the future as well as thematic sessions to explore various ESD-related themes and task force sessions to develop messages and priorities for various actors.

VENUE: Scandic Bergen City Hotel,  Bergen, Norway.

A single room is NOK 1190 per night. A shared double room is NOK 670 per person per night. Follow accommodation link for more information.

REGISTRATION: To register, please fill out and submit the registration form.

PRE-REGISTRATION: For a pre-registration certificate, send a request by e-mail to post@support-edu.org with:

FEE: The conference fee (€ 300) and the meals package (€ 192) is a total of € 492. This includes:

  • Conference materials
  • Access to all conference and works sessions
  • Poster space in poster exhibition
  • Lunches Monday - Wednesday
  • Coffee/tea in all breaks
  • Welcome dinner on Sunday Aug 29th can be added at € 38, giving a total of € 530.

Dinner on Monday Aug 30th, at "Fløien Folkerestaurant" on the mountain "Fløyen", is hosted by Bergen Municipality.

Conference dinner at Scandic hotel on Tuesday Aug 31st is hosted by the Norwegian Directorate of Education and Training.

PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS: The conference fee and meals package should be paid by August 10th. See the payment instructions for bank details etc.

You will receive a receipt of the payment on arrival to the conference.

Note that you pay for the accommodation directly to the hotel (by cash or credit card).
